Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

We are located at 279 Amherst Road (Route 116) in Sunderland –
directly behind the 7-11 in the Squire Village Shopping Plaza.
How far are you from U-Mass?

We are approximately 5 ½ miles from campus.
Are you on the PVTA bus route?

The PVTA bus stops in front of the Squire Village Shops
every 15 minutes during the academic year.
How big are your apartments?

We have apartments ranging from 1 bedroom up to 5 bedrooms,
most within the complex and a few in houses nearby.
Is there a laundry facility?

We have a laundry room with modern, “Smart Card” machines from Mac-Gray.
Do you have a pool?

We have a well-maintained pool that is available to residents
from 8:00am to dusk during the summer season.
Do you have cable TV or high-speed internet access?

We have high-speed cable access provided by Comcast,
with at least one cable jack in each apartment.
Will I need to get a parking sticker?

All residents are required to get a parking sticker for each vehicle.
The stickers are provided to the resident at no additional cost.
Do I need to pay extra for trash removal?

We have a large trash compactor located centrally within the complex.
Do you recycle?

We have a recycling center located next to the trash compactor.
How noisy is your apartment complex, especially at night or on the weekends?

We have a fairly quiet complex which is routinely monitored by our maintenance staff.
We strongly discourage loud parties and encourage “quiet time” after 11:00pm.
Do you allow pets?

We allow cats (limit 2) with a copy of their rabies shots on file in the office.
We also allow hamsters, mice, gerbils, birds and fish. We do NOT allow dogs or ferrets.
What is your resident population?

We are about 75 percent U-Mass students, many of them grad students.
We have a few families with children, a few non-student households and a few retirees.
What should I do if something in my apartment breaks or leaks,
especially in the middle of the night?

We have on-site management and offer 24-hour emergency service.
